Something Gretzky did NOT. Steve Yzerman is probably one of the most under rated players of all time. He was a top10 player every single year of his career, he didnt get the recognition he deserved cuz there was always one or two guys outshining him. But he was top10 or top5 in all stats. If we go real old school we have Bobby Orr, Gordie Howe and Borje Salming. It was a different time when they played, skill wise I dont think they would match up to todays players but in regards to grit and determination, they are the GOATS.
